SUBSTITUTE-FULL-TIME:
Job Goal
: The position is only for this school year
and is a full-time permanent substitute position at this school location only.
Subs should report to school each day and mandatory teacher workdays. To
maintain a safe, orderly environment and high level of student learning when
the regular teacher is absent.
Please also upload
your verification of education (high school diploma or official college
transcripts) and teaching license if applicable.
Once we receive your completed application,
Disclosure Form and verification of education, we will send electronic
references to the names you have submitted on your application.
References must
include your current or most recent supervisor
Additional requirements
after
the pre-screening process to complete include
a principal interview that we will help you set up, as well as completion of
online NHCS Substitute Training and Effective Teacher Training if you do not
have a teaching license.
Qualifications
: Non-certified subs must have a high school
diploma or equivalent. Forty-eight credit hours or college degree preferred.
Experience working with children preferred. Certified subs must have a
bachelor's degree in education with a teaching license.
Salary
For those holding current N.C. teaching
license: $18 per hour/7.5 hours a day
For those with expired N.C. teaching license
or an out of state teaching license: $16 per hour/7.5 hours a day
For those without a N.C. or out of state
teaching license: $14 per hour/7.5 hours a day
