invites applications for an
ElevateU Online Program Manager
The person assigned to this position manages the Career Core programming of ElevateU, which is the signature career readiness program at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (UM). The employee in this role conducts outreach to students and faculty to engage in the program, oversees the program’s technical platform and assessment data, develops policies for effective faculty and student engagement, and provides career advising to students.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Engage students in ElevateU Online (Career Core)
Manage communication and outreach to students to participate in programming, including online learning modules, online general career coaching, and industry-coached sessions
Assist in preparing students to fully participate in ElevateU Online through developing co-curricular and curricular pathways and policies
Serve as liaison for students to connect ElevateU Online content with UM-based resources, programs, and activities
Engage faculty in ElevateU Online (Career Core)
Manage communication, policies, and outreach to faculty to incorporate ElevateU Online content into courses and academic programs
Conduct faculty workshops to provide training and support for curricular adaptation/integration
Provide Career Advising to Students
Use diverse career advising techniques and a holistic approach to assist students in achieving life and career goals
Deliver and interpret career-related assessments, and use career development resources
Meet students individually and in groups to discuss choosing academic majors and career goals, and assist with application material edits (e.g., résumés, cover letters, personal statements, etc.), interviewing techniques, job search and networking strategies, internships, and online career tools
Maintain knowledge of employment and labor market trends, and research current and emerging trends in employment, workforce development, and employability factors
Design and present career readiness and special topic presentations
Manage Program Technology Platform and Assessment
Serve as primary contact person and lead manager for ElevateU Online Career Core platform, conduct regular reviews of data to discern student engagement, student satisfaction, impact on career readiness, and additional program information
Create tools, provide training and support for faculty and staff to utilize platform and associated data for their classes/programs
Participate in Kaplan Career Core meetings and trainings, liaise with other Career Core campuses
Assist in using data to research and write grants to support program funding needs
Support additional Experiential Learning and Career Success platforms and databases (such as Handshake, CapSource, Navigate, GrizHub, Jobscan, etc.)
Required Skills
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, online) and attention to detail
Ability to coordinate and manage programs, both curricular and co-curricular
Familiarity with online career-ready platforms and programs
Experience with online learning platforms, e.g. Moodle
Minimum Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of two years of experience working with college student career-readiness/career development programming or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education career readiness programming and online content delivery
Experience teaching or facilitating faculty/staff professional development
Industry-recognized credentials such as: career coaching/advising (CCMC, CPCC), résumé writing (NCRW, ACRW, CPRW), LinkedIn (NCOPE), or related credentials.

Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year. This is a two (2) year grant funded position with the possibility for extension.
Salary:
$18.35/hr
