We are an open access college and offer primarily associate degrees with an enrollment of approximately 5100 students. All applicants for this position must be proficient in English, have strong communication skills, and be effective classroom facilitators who enjoy teaching in a culturally diverse, student-centered environment.

 

Responsibilities

*Candidates must have experience and training in English and/or Rhetoric and Composition to provide course instruction in English Composition and Developmental English.  *Teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.  *Office hours are required in order to meet with students as needed.
 

Minimum Qualifications

*Master degree in English or Rhetoric and Composition with at least one year of recent college teaching experience in composition or developmental writing preferred.
 

Additional Qualifications

*Ph.D. or ABD in English or Rhetoric and Composition.
