As a lecturer at the University of Plymouth, you will deliver excellent teaching, contribute to the generation and transfer of knowledge through research, and provide support for our students. The position will require teaching and assessment at all stages of undergraduate and if/when you are appropriately qualified, postgraduate study. One of the strengths of our Faculty is the interprofessional learning opportunities for students, so you may be required to teach across disciplines across the School of Health Professions and Faculty. Practice-based learning is at the heart of the programme and we anticipate the candidate will be heavily involved in supporting practice placement activity. You will be a registered professional with appropriate academic and/or professional experience, preferably from a paramedicine or nursing background, or other appropriate profession. You will have an in-depth understanding of contemporary emergency and urgent care provision and be committed to quality education and research. You will value your own professional development and ideally hold, or be working towards a higher degree qualification. You must currently be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or a similar, relevant regulatory body. We are looking for an inspirational individual to join the well-established, progressive Paramedic team at the University of Plymouth.
