The School of Human Services at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. invites applications for appointment to a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor position in Health Promotion and Education. This search is open to candidates seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track, one-year appointment with benefits. Anticipated start date is August 15, 2020.

 

A successful candidate seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor position is expected to teach face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses, and provide service to the Program.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

*An earned doctorate in Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, or related field (or ABD with anticipated completion by August 2020) *Excellent teaching and communication skills *Potential for teaching a variety of courses in Health Promotion and Education, both on-campus and online.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

*Preference will be given to candidates who have professional health promotion or health education industry experience, have prior experience teaching in an online setting, have obtained professional credentials such as CHES or CPH, and have the ability to work collaboratively with university colleagues and area partners.
