Job Description:
BASIC PURPOSE: In support of the Mission of the University, Assumption University invites applications for a full-time Director of Enrollment Operations and SLATE Administrator. A key member of the Enrollment Management division with a specific focus to achieve the University's enrollment management goals by providing SLATE data management, strategic, operational, and technical support to Admissions and Financial Aid. The primary functions include overseeing all current and proposed operational processes. This position will also provide strategic support to Enrollment goals and innovations to student services.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Supervises Enrollment Operations Team;
* Responsible for a comprehensive knowledge of the SLATE CRM (structures, tables, forms, data integrity and security, flow of data across processes/units, including importing prospect names and building audiences for communication planning, maintain user profiles, etc.). This includes training and providing technical support for all processes, analyzing and solving technical issues, responding to ad hoc information requests, and developing and maintaining written procedures for all processes. Primary contact for program design in SQL;
* Leads project management and planning. Develops reasonable timelines for completing new projects, evaluates; the effectiveness of the project to ensure outcomes were achieved, and helping create the annual strategic technology timeline for the affected department;
* Manages administrative reporting on enrollment data (sources, applicants, admits, AP, enrolled, etc.), processing production, and other strategic reports;
* Responsible for proper and timely installation of new patches/releases to relevant software, data integrity, and data integration;
* Active member on Enrollment leadership team, Enrollment Management and Marketing Working Group, and primary liaison with IT, and other departments across the University to represent the computing and business needs of Enrollment. Leads and/or participates in cross-departmental projects with University-wide implications as appropriate, especially coordination with Financial Aid and Integrated Marketing;
* Creates effective partnerships and works collaboratively with other offices, including Institutional Research, IT, Academic Affairs, Student Success, Athletics, etc.;
* Works with outside vendors to customize their software to meet the needs of the department or to deliver critical data/processes;
* Coordinates training of staff for efficient use of the SLATE report generation. Provides appropriate and timely training to admissions staff on SLATE as requested and needed, including the development and implementation of audit procedures for processes.
Requirements:
* Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University.
* Bachelor's degree, required; Master's degree preferred;
* Seven to ten years of experience in managing an information technology system;
* Experience managing full time staff with a demonstrated ability to provide independent leadership and direction in in a fast - paced office setting;
* Ability to handle multiple priorities; communicate well in written and verbal form with staff he/she works with and supports; ability to train users on computer system processes; ability to constantly search for better and more efficient processes;
* Excellent problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to recognize potential for errors with processes/reports, and how to solve those errors;
* Effective as a team player as well as complete quality work independently;
* Flexible to meet critical needs and a willingness to learn; ? Ability to use one reporting tool to manipulate data;
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel;
* Vaccinated and Boostered for COVID-19, required
