In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Department of Surgery is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.

 

A full-time faculty general and trauma surgeon position is available in the Section of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. College of Medicine.  The Section consists of twenty-one dedicated surgeons supporting the UC Health academic healthcare system, which is anchored by the Level I Trauma Center at its flagship hospital, University of Cincinnati Medical Center and our ACS-verified Level III trauma center at West Chester Hospital.  We host the only adult Level I Trauma Center serving almost 2 million people in Southwestern Ohio, Eastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical, research and teaching activities for our students, residents and fellows. *Clinical responsibilities may include care of general surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care patients.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Eligible for full, unrestricted licensure in the state of Ohio. *Completion of an accredited general surgery residency. *Board eligible or board certified in surgery.
