Harrison Medical Center Orthopaedic Center has 4 large operating rooms, pre-op holding, PACU and a dedicated Orthopaedic nursing unit. We have a team focus in caring for our patients and a team approach to on-boarding new team members.  We have been recognized as being a Center of Distinction for Joint Replacement Surgery by Blue Cross Blue Shield and have a broad Orthopaedic surgical service/care platform including sports medicine, and joint replacement surgery.
 
We are located in Silverdale, Washington pm the Kitsap Peninsula and surrounded by the Puget Sound and the Hood Canal, making water sports and water activities abundant. We are nestled between the Olympic and Cascade mountains with quick access to skiing, hiking and camping. Job Summary: 
Our surgical services nurses provide pre-, intra- and post-operative nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures.  This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family. ','!*!Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Minimum 6 months previous RN experience.
One year of related work experience is preferred.
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred.
Basic Life Support certification required.
