The Student Recruitment and Admissions Department is a dynamic, thriving and vibrant area of the University dealing with a range of stakeholders with periods of high intensity on the frontline of University Business. Proactive and enthusiastic individuals are required to join the team with responsibility for assessing and processing applications, assisting with data tasks and supporting the customer focus of the department It is essential that you have good IT skills, excellent communication skills, experience of working in an office or customer focused environment and evidence of being able to pay clear attention to detail. An understanding of or experience within the Higher Education Sector would be beneficial. Although the focus of this role is dealing with applications, the role is placed within a team covering a diverse range of responsibilities including database management, all aspects of customer service and liaison with prospective and current applicants, liaison with staff internal to the University and stakeholders external to our business. You will need to be flexible in your approach, willing to engage with the work which is very fast paced and high volume and capable of prioritising and organising your workload effectively, following direction of the Team Leader and Admissions Manager.
