The unit secretary/monitor tech
coordinates department activities and events and supports the clinical delivery
team to ensure the success of the programs offered at the Healthy Lifestyle
Center. As an essential front-line member of the Healthy Lifestyle Center, the
unit secretary/monitor tech is responsible for actively engaging potential and
enrolled participants and stakeholders with excellent customer service skills.
Also this role is responsible for the cardiac monitoring systems according to
appropriate procedure.

 

Essential Functions

Manages
all program inquiries. Initialized and manages the
potential participant process. Assists with registration,
billing, reimbursement and insurance management protocols. Assists with the data
collection and documentation in VersaCare and DiabwebTracking attendance on excel
spreadsheet. Order supplies and track
inventoryAccurately  establishes,
maintains and observes cardiac monitoring of patients. Provides accurate communication
to healthcare team to facilitate coordination of patient care.

/ Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

High School Diploma

Experience
(required and preferred):

2 years of Healthcare related
experience requiredBLS required. Effective September 1, 2017,current BLS through the
American                 Heart
Association, or a previously approved provider, will be required before
employment.

Telemetry monitoring
experienced preferred
