Position Summary
The Fiscal Support Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned department or program and for researching financial data and preparing reports. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Primary area of focus: Buffalo Building Administrator
Serves as the official building coordinator and as the primary liaison on the building emergency committee.
Manages the front desk/reception area to ensure it is staffed during business hours.
Responsible for the building calendar and room setup for both internal and external constituents.
Maintain and replenish meeting refreshment inventory.
Responsible for equipment inventory and retirement process.
Coordinates and monitors building office and cleaning supplies and submits purchase requests as needed.
Submits work orders to the physical plant for building maintenance and repairs as needed.
Manages the incoming and outgoing mail for the building.
Responsible for Advancements golf carts including maintenance, gas, cleaning and scheduling.
Secondary area of focus: Foundation administrative duties
Donor acknowledgments: Thank you letters, tax receipts, in memory/honor of cards.
Process

Foundation email daily.
Assist with Foundation Scholarship Reception.
Maintain donor and fund files making sure filing is up to date and complete.
Temporary area of focus: Scholarship processing
Administer the Award Spring scholarship application process: Add scholarships to Award Spring, work with department admins, committees, and IT department/Award Spring on nightly imports
Assist the
UCA
Foundation Scholarship Committee onboard new members, provide support to committee members as needed
Prepare monthly import of scholarship payments into FE and send payments to Financial Accounting and email Financial Aid when complete
Process emergency scholarship requests
Review student
ARGOS
report/Banner files for eligibility and prepare scholarship renewal information
Prepare scholarship award report (5010) for tax return

Knowledge of accounting principals and database management. Knowledge of software applications. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies of assigned section. Knowledge of customer service techniques. Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical and business related documents. Ability to apply policies and procedures and other applicable regulations associated with assigned department or program. Ability to conduct research, perform quantitative quality assurance reviews, and prepare reports.

Required Education and/or Experience
The formal education equivalent of a bachelors degree in general business, finance, or a related field. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.
