Job Description
The Department of Political Science and Geography at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s College of Arts and Letters invites applications for a lecturer position in its geography program to begin in July 2022. Preference will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching undergraduate courses in cultural and/or environmental geography, and/or geospatial technologies. The position also entails lab management for the Department's Spatial Analytics Instructional Lab (SAIL). The lab management duties include coordinating with technical services for hardware maintenance and software installation and related issues, and coordinating lab schedule. Other duties include advising undergraduate students in the major and other contributions of service to the department and college as needed. This is a non-tenure track, renewable 10-month appointment that will report to the Political Science and Geography Department chair.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to teach undergraduate courses in cultural and/or environmental geography, and/or geospatial technologies;
Knowledge of geospatial technologies, and hardware and software maintenance and installation; and
Ability to oversee the management and scheduling of the Spatial Analytics Instructional Lab (SAIL).
