This faculty position is primarily responsible for teaching forestry and natural resources courses for both college transfer and professional technical courses. Evening or offsite classes may be part of the assignment. The position will include an instructional schedule with lower division courses; student advising; course and program assessment; college committee work; recruitment and retention; and engagement with students, campus colleagues, and community/advisory committee members. Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the College.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Forestry, or closely related field required with a forestry emphasis from a regionally accredited college or university.
Knowledge of forestry, natural resources management, and GIS.
Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with people
Preferred Qualifications
Community College classroom teaching experience
On-line instruction experience
Skill in curriculum development, course revision
Expertise and/or experience in instruction of surveying courses
