Job Summary
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is accepting applications for a Coordinator, Testing Services.
This position provides professional-level direction, management, communication, evaluation, and oversight of a peer-tutoring program. The Coordinator is responsible for providing, tracking and coordinating tutoring services, as well as overseeing the daily operations and all academic support activities of the program.
Essential Functions
Oversees the daily operations to include recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating tutors.
Develops tutor work schedules to ensure the tutoring services are properly staffed with appropriate academic subject experts.
Recommends and implements programmatic policies and procedures for tutoring services. Assesses effectiveness of programs and services.
Gathers, analyzes, and reports data and uses the results to make continuous improvements to tutoring services.
Communicates professionally with the program supervisor, tutors, academic advisors, students, faculty, and other stakeholders concerning programs and services.
Collaborates across campus with other tutorial programs to share best practices.
Education Level
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
