SCHEDULER SUGERY-COORD (SV HOT SPRINGS), UROLOGY CLINIC, FULL TIME, DAYS','Full-time','Administrative/Clerical','DAYS','DAYS','80','80','Occasional','Occasional','ARKANSAS-HOT SPRINGS-CHI CLINIC UROLOGY','','!*!JOB SUMMARY: The Information Systems Coordinator is responsible for entering and maintaining physician schedules, preparing monthly physician production reports, printing and archiving daily, monthly and on-demand reports, preparing daily and monthly financial statistics for Administration; processing and printing collection reports; printing patient recall notices; maintaining computer hardware and software; and maintaining computer supply and form inventory.
Essential Functions:
Communication
Consistently answers telephone promptly and courteously.
Appropriately identifies self when answering calls.
Assists customers with all aspects of appointment scheduling in a positive and professional manner.
Communicates with customers after hours when necessary to ensure efficient operation of department
Information Management
Accurately prepares all physician production reports prior to the monthly business meeting.
Accurately prepares physician RVU statistics for payroll purposes by the 3rd of each month.
Runs reports daily, monthly and as needed for staff and physicians.
Archives reports in an organized manner which allows management easy access to these reports.
Clerical
Accurately enters physician’s schedules in the practice management system according the time guidelines established by management.
Cancels physicians’ schedules with 24 hours of notification or more quickly if urgent situation arises.
Processes and prints collection reports on dates established by management.
Processes and prints recall notices on dates established by management.
Inventories supplies and forms weekly and places orders for items that are needed for efficient operation of the departments.
Promptly repairs computer hardware when possible or promptly reports problem to SVI IS personnel for handling.
Promptly reports software problems to SVI IS personnel.
Follows-up to ensure hardware and software problems are resolved and reports any unresolved issues to Clinic Director.
Accurately maintains practice management system file maintenance.

','!*!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma, GED, Metropolitan Test or equivalent.
Experience: Prefer two years experience operating a practice management system; prefer two years medical group practice experience; must have excellent understanding of Excel.
Physical Requirements: This job requires, at various times, the following physical activities; sitting, reaching, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, and finger dexterity. Must have close visual acuity to perform daily activities. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
