Description:
Under the direction of the Student Recruitment and Admissions Team Leader and UCAS Speciallist and as a member of the team, you will provide support on admissions applications coming into the department via phone, email during Open and Offer Holder Days and from the admissions application system. All activities should be undertaken to support in the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective service with a flexible approach to working. A proactive and enthusiatic individual is required to join the team with responsibility for assessing and processing and managing applications that come into the department. We are looking for skills that demonstrate good attention to detail, meeting deadlines and working at a fast and dynamic pace. Good IT skills, excellent communication skills, experience of working within an office or customer focused environment and being able to pay good attention to detail are essential. An understanding of or experience in the Higher Education Sector would be desirable. A current full driving licence and willingness to travel is desirable as you may be required to travel to events that may not always be easily accessible by public transport.
