Must have a Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Public Administration/Policy, Adult Education, Community College Administration, Industrial/Organizational Education/Training or related field 
Experience Required
Must have five years or more management leadership experience in business/industry with personnel management experience.

Position Description
The Director of Career Education and Training reports directly to the Vice President of Workforce and Continuing Education and is responsible for providing training through occupational extension programs within Guilford County; these programs are designed for the specific purposes of training individuals for employment, upgrading the skills of individuals presently employed, and retraining others for employment in different occupational fields. This position is responsible for Workforce and Continuing Education occupational extension programs, supervision of the department coordinator, full and part-time faculty and administrative support staff, and oversight of departmental budgets.  This position also performs other institutional assignments as required and, represents the institution within the business, workforce development, and economic development communities.
