The Department of Allied Health professionals is looking for a Senior Lecturer to join our team of dedicated paramedics and Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) Lecturers, working within our new high-tech teaching facilities including a practice skills suite and high-fidelity clinical simulation equipment.
As a Senior Lecturer, your role will include leading, and contributing to the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science the BSc Enhanced Pre-Hospital Care, the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, development of the Post Registration portfolio as well as interprofessional elements across the College.
You will be involved in all aspects of teaching including Course Lead, preparation, tuition, assessment, research and supporting students in placements - as well as undertaking the standard academic administration duties required for course delivery. You will also support the team with admissions, placements, assessments and be actively involved in research, developing and taking on new research opportunities.
You will need:
The ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences
Well-developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to health or paramedic practice.
Current registration with the HCPC, NMC or appropriate statutory body.
