Based within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business, the School of Society and Culture is a place of progression in a progressive world. The School of Society and Culture is looking for an exceptional individual to deliver teaching and research in Law. You will join a dynamic, friendly and supportive team, and will work in an energetic multidisciplinary environment that provides many opportunities to develop innovate teaching and research across disciplinary boundaries. The subjects comprising the School of Society and Culture have a reputation for research of national and international excellence and consistently gain top NSS results. The role involves designing and delivering exciting courses in our world-class LLB Law programmes and postgraduate taught, practice- driven and/or research programmes. You will additionally participate in student assessment. You will have, or be close to, achieving a PhD in Law or related subject, and have experience in legal practice. You will have proven experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We welcome applications from exceptional scholars or practitioners whose research, practice experience and teaching interests complement and expand the School of Society and Culture’s, notably in the areas of Property (Land) Law and/or Equity & Trusts. Knowledge of research methods and/or practice experience would be beneficial. You will therefore also be skilled in conducting legal, socio-legal research and/or clinical legal education.
