UK Student Recruitment team wishes to appoint a Student Recruitment Manager to monitor and drive-up enquiries, applications and enrolments according to defined targets. The key priorities for this role include: effective day-to-day management and development of the UK recruitment team; the development and implementation of effective sales/recruitment strategies and operational plans; overseeing the development of a range of existing key accounts; identifying new customers and areas of growth; supporting the enquirer and applicant communications journey; and providing the business with insight into performance and opportunities/threats through thorough data analysis.
The successful candidate will develop with the Director of UK Student Recruitment, the UK undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment strategies and oversee its day-to-day implementation, ensuring activities are delivered within agreed timescales and on budget. Develop strategies and tactics to increase attendance at recruitment events (such as open days and applicant days); increase engagement from our key accounts and develop UCLan as the first-choice institution to support an overall increase in applications.  Work closely with colleagues in academic Schools, Professional Service staff and Marketing, Communications and Engagement to ensure the recruitment team has appropriate marketing collateral to support activity and has appropriate involvement and influence within recruitment campaign planning. 
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent coupled with recent experience of working in a successful UK recruitment/marketing and/or sales/business development role and will be able to demonstrate recent experience of formulating and implementing sales/ recruitment strategies and operational plans. You will have experience of effectively managing teams to achieve targets in challenging and pressurised environments and evidence of building, maintaining and developing effective working relationships at all levels with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
