We are seeking a full-time Undergraduate Studies Assistant to join the Student Administration Office at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is permanent and full time. 
The Undergraduate Administration Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support as part of a team, with a particular focus on supporting undergraduate students and academic staff involved in teaching. 
You will be responsible for providing information, advice and guidance to current undergraduate students, communicating face-to-face, via email and other media.  Using your skills of judgment, you will decide whether to answer queries directly, or refer them to the Undergraduate Studies Officer, Examinations Administrator, Head of Student Administration or other senior staff. 
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of customer facing work and coordinating administrative processes and possess excellent organisational skills to allow you to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines.  You will have the ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, and a willingness to resolve situations.
