Job Details:
Summary: The Training Senior Analyst is responsible for designing and delivering learning materials for Team members impacted by change initiatives. In this role, the Training Senior Analyst will partner with our Org Change Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assess the learning needs of our end-users and research processes to develop and design curriculum and courses. The Training Senior Analyst will collaborate with others on our team to ensure courses are available on the LMS and monitor training statistics and feedback to ensure the curriculum meets the end-users needs. Candidates for this position must possess a working knowledge of adult learning theory, including assessment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and delivers courses and curriculum based on changes/impacts and audiences assessments.
Creates learning experiences and environments.
Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards.
Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop course content.
Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content.
Trains instructors and Team Members on how to use learning technologies.
Keeps current on best practices in instructional design.
Writes and records scripts for video and audio content.
Develops expertise in new technologies and tools as needed .
Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a discipline such as instructional design, education, or other related areas. Equivalent work experience may be acceptable.
EXPERIENCE: Two plus years experience (prefer four-plus years of experience) in instructional design and delivery in multiple modalities (instructor-led, computer-based, in-person, etc.).
COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. SAP Enable-Now. Video editing experience with software such as Camtasia. Animation experience such as Vyond Animations. Adobe Creative Cloud experience is helpful but not required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening facilitation and presentation skills.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Able to align business change initiatives with the corporate vision and mission – see the big picture. Able to digest and leverage complex business, organizational, and technical issues and challenges; flexible and adaptable; comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
Must have strong project management skills and be organized with a natural inclination for translating strategy into tactics and deliverables. Must be a problem-solver, experienced in root cause analysis, and can work collaboratively with and through others with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
SUPERVISORY: None TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required. Individual project requirements will determine the amount of travel.
