BCS Dance Teacher

Profile

Bethel Christian School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dance Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching dance, have a strong background in various dance styles, and be committed to educating and inspiring students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
Pastoring a classroom of students, leading them in their connection with God, leading others in their connection with God through performing arts.
Teach a variety of dance styles, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and others.
Create choreography and lead rehearsals for recitals & performances,
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student creativity and growth.
Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to help them develop their technique and skills.
Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff to support the school's mission and goals.
Attend school events and meetings as required.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in dance or a performing arts-related field.
Experience teaching dance at the K-8 level.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Passion for drama and the performing arts.
Ability to work effectively with students of all backgrounds and abilities.
