Relationships: Who will I work with?
As a Biomedical Repair Intern, you will join our in-house Clinical Engineering team comprised of multiple levels of Biomeds and Field Service Technicians, led by a nation-wide network of Managers, Directors, and VP’s. This internship will allow you to supplement your education and learn a skilled trade alongside top technicians. You will also partner with some of our nation’s top clinical talent at the local hospital to help ensure the best patient care. And, let’s not forget the most important relationship of all…our patients.

This role matters because you, working alongside a senior technician, will have a direct impact on patient care and satisfaction by ensuring all hospital medical equipment is functioning perfectly. Observing and assisting in providing routine equipment repair, preventative maintenance, and safety testing in our hospitals keeps the equipment functioning optimally so that our clinical and direct patient care teams can provide the best patient care possible.
You can make the biggest impact by meeting these requirements:
Must be in process of obtaining an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Electronics or Biomedical Repair Technology preferred.
Entry level to three years of related experience.
General knowledge of The Joint Commission, NFPA and other regulatory agencies/standards preferred.
General knowledge or education on repairing and maintaining a wide variety of equipment.
