Description:
King University is accepting applications for a part-time faculty position to teach on-ground courses in Choral Music Education for Spring 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the choral music education program.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master’s degree is required in either choral conducting or music education. Candidates should have relevant experience conducting and administering choral programs at the high school level, including current trends and strategies in choral music.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional teaching experience in elementary and middle school is preferred. Collegiate teaching experience, or several years of public school teaching experience, is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
The Choral Music Education courses offered will include Secondary Music Methods and Content Specific Practicum in Secondary Music Education. This position may be renewed for subsequent semesters.
