Teach and facilitate student learning and personal growth. Serve as case manager and academic and personal advisor/coach. Manage recruitment, advising, student progress tracking, and distribution of student information, academic research, and student databases. Plan and execute student events and activities. Coach African-American males.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field. Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology with demonstrated clinical skills, preferred.
Five years of relevant experience with at least two years in event planning.
Experience working with diverse populations and specific experience with African-American males.
Counseling license strongly preferred.
Two years of teaching and course development experience in a community college, preferred.
Computer skills in academic research, EXCEL, Power Point or Prezi, and student progress reporting.
