JOB SUMMARY: Provides healthcare services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiologic procedures and related techniques producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Radiology: Directs all imaging activities in the assigned area.
Cardiac Cath/Angio: Performs Radiologic procedures, Angiographic, Interventional procedure and related techniques producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
MRI/CT: Provides health care services utilizing a combination of strong magnetic fields and high frequency sound waves to produce images for diagnosis or treatment.
','!*!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Radiology: Registered Radiographic Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or registry eligible technologist that will be required to pass the ARRT radiography certification within one (1) year of hire date.
CT/MRI: Registered Radiographic Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Registered technologist that will be encouraged to pass the ARRT in CT or MRI certification within one (1) year of hire date.
Cardiac Cath/Angio: Registered or register eligible technologist that will be encouraged to pass in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology by ARRT within one (1) year of hire date.
Experience:
Radiology: One (1) year experience in Radiology.
Cardiac Cath/ Angio: Prefer two (2) years experience in Radiology.
CT/MRI: Prefer two (2) years experience in Radiology. Completion of a ninety (90) day (CT)/one (1) year (MRI) on-the-job training.
Preferred: registered, certified or licensed in multimodalities such as CT, NM, PET, MRI, US, Angio or routine radiography.
Physical Requirements: The physical activities involve balancing, climbing, crawling, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping and use of fingers and repetitive movements. An individual in this position may be required to carry or lift weight of up to fifty (50) pounds and push/pull one hundred/one hundred-fifty 100-150 pounds. The sensory and communicative activities required for this position include feeling, hearing, seeing, smelling and speaking. Individuals in this position could possibly be exposed to inside environmental conditions, blood borne pathogens and body fluids, chemical hazards, respiratory hazards and radiological hazards.
Skills: Able to use complex imaging equipment and computers. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and readily adapts to changing events in the radiographic environment. Certified in CPR according to Health Care Provider course standards by the American Heart Association.
CT/MRI: also; Ability to understand cross sectional anatomy. Good knowledge of computer equipment, terminology and ability to manipulate software menus.','We’re an equal opportunity employer.
