Description:
The Institute for Software Research, in the School of Computer Science is looking for a person who will be responsible for marketing of executive education programs for the School of Computer Science and the Institute for Software Research (ISR) in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Korea). Identifying, building relationships with and working directly with businesses and government agencies in these countries on executive education programs offered by the School of Computer Science. Work with SCS Executive Education and SCS Faculty members on the development and implementation of customized programs on the CMU campus (in Pittsburgh), at client locations and also live instructor led online programs. They will develop materials and deliver Executive Education courses in the area of policy and computing., eGovernment and eFinance.
Qualifications:
10 years experience in in designing and marketing custom Executive Education programs. Experience and high level of comfort in working with senior business and government executives to determine training needs. Experience in working with university faculty to explain training needs and working with busy faculty to deliver determine project scope. Experience working with contracting departments to process contracting paperwork.
Responsibilities:
Qualified lead generation for SCS Executive Education Programs (SCSEEP) in Asia. Qualified leads are defined as Deep Tech program opportunities that have passed the initial exploration and capabilities discussion. Leads are qualified based upon a review by the SCS Executive Education Team.
Work with SCSEEP to define scope, potential delivery dates, budget ($150,000 minimum) and preferred delivery format.
Work with SCSEEP to convert leads into revenue generating programs and facilitate the contracting process between CMU and potential client.
Assist the SCSEEP team to create new programs of interest to the Asian market in addition to SCS bench of deep tech programs.
Develop profiles on companies and executives in Asia and assist with CMU alumni involvement and other leadership or background information.
Maintain lead and client data in Salesforce.
Develop materials and deliver Executive Education courses in the area of policy and computing, e.g., eGovernment and eFinance.
Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred Education: Masters Degree: Management of Technology or similar field.
