This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Services Team at the Faculty of Health. The Clinical Liaison Services Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health community. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Clinical Liaison Administrator. You will co-ordinate Year 5 medical student placements and supporting academic programme. You will be expected to liaise with providers from partner organisations about placements and teaching and maintain the student digital learning environment. In addition, you will support the administration of Small Group Facilitators including payments and organise Years 3-5 medical student inductions. You will need experience of office administration, good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, attention to detail, effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ideally you will have experience of liaising with clinicians / healthcare professionals in the clinical environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and confidential service and assist in the development of a customer focused, integrated, cost effective and progressive administration support service for Clinical Liaison Services. Requirements for the role are set out in the job description. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth. The team has informal arrangements for partial remote working and we are happy to discuss this with interested applicants. This is a part-time, fixed-term position working between 22.5 and 26.5 hours per week to cover a period of maternity leave which is anticipated to be for approximately 6 months.
