As this role involves engaging with a network linked to the cement and steel sectors, knowledge of sustainability and industrial materials is desirable.
As Research Communications Officer in Sustainable Manufacturing
, you will be part of the FeRICH
team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., leading on the development and delivery of our external engagement strategy. You will work closely with the FeRICH investigators and across research centres. Your work will reach and connect a wide range of audiences, both national and international including project partners, industry, researchers in universities, policy makers, SMEs, Networks, trade associations, and the public. Your main role will be to deliver and further develop an existing user engagement strategy, which includes engaging directly with the stakeholders through various information gathering activities. The post-holder will also liaise with media companies to produce animated media content and help develop the architecture of a materials online platform as well as measure and monitor our impact based on key [living] performance indicators.
The position is offered as a fixed term appointment, part time (50% FTE), with an end date of 31 May 2025, and with a target start date of 1st of June 2022 (or as soon as possible thereafter). It is planned that interviews and other selection action will be held in April 2022 in Sheffield or remotely. Full details will be provided to invited candidates.
