The
Student Advocacy Resource Center (SARC)
invites applications for a
Program Coordinator
to serve as the first point of contact between the SARC, Curry Health Center Wellness, and the campus community. The person in this position provides a high level of support to the Director of SARC and the Direct Services Coordinator. They also provide administrative and programmatic support to the Wellness Department. The duties and responsibilities for this position require: managing office functions in a busy environment, navigating campus processes and regulations, successfully coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, organizing logistics for meetings and events, and providing excellent guest services. The person in this position must demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and sound judgment. Tact and discretion are paramount while performing numerous responsibilities and maintaining appropriate confidentiality of office records and information.
Required Skills
Proficient with various computer programs and standard office equipment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage flexible workload and multiple tasks.
Understands and respects confidentiality involving information protected by FERPA and state of Montana laws.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to represent UM, Wellness, and the Student Advocacy Resource Center to others in a professional, positive, and courteous manner.
Awareness of their own attitudes, beliefs, biases, and assumptions about others, and the ability to manage their own behavior to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment for all.
Minimum Required Experience
High School diploma and two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year experience performing administrative functions in an office setting.
Familiarity with higher education.
Demonstrated proficiency with recordkeeping, and data input/maintenance.
Demonstrated experience organizing event/program logistics.
Familiarity with sex-based harm and Bystander Intervention.
