Physical Education Teacher (Temporary)
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Plan and implement an interdisciplinary, motivational physical education curriculum



QUALIFICATIONS
Education—Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree preferred.



Certification—Valid Indiana Teacher's License in Physical Education



Experience—Three years successful teaching preferred.



Familiarity with a variety of instructional methodologies.

Experience in cooperative learning, student learning styles, collegial teaching/team building, and technology preferred.

Ability to collaborate with a variety of people including community partners, parents, and other teachers to coordinate P.E. curriculum development, instruction, and extra-curricular activities

Ability to integrate educational theory and practice

Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences.

Understanding of student learning styles and alternative forms of assessment.
