Student Worker Public Opinion Polling Institute for Policy Research

Profile

The Institute for Policy Research provides an opportunity for practical experience in survey research and interaction with IPR researchers.  The position consists of contacting and interviewing respondents on the telephone for a variety of public opinion surveys. 

 

Qualifications: 

*Applicant must have strong communication skills, a clear speaking voice, and an excellent command of the English language.  *Must be enrolled at least part-time or 6 credit hours for undergraduate students or 5 credit hours for graduate students. 
 

Position Requirements:  The student is required to work three evenings 6-9PM Monday through Friday and one 6 hour shift on the weekend.  Saturday hours are 10AM -4PM.  Sunday hours are 2PM - 8PM.
