ESL/EFL English Teacher
We are currently looking to hire a team of ESL teachers to work with our student base in China. Teachers will work remotely with Zoom in teaching English to students in China. Students age ranges vary; however, most of our student base is aged between 10 - 15 years old. Levels of English proficiency vary and these classes are taught in small (2 - 5 students) and large group (8 - 12 students) sessions.
This is not a one time role and is an ongoing year round program. We are looking for teachers who can get students engaged in discussion, use activities to make the quieter students talk, and ultimately build a rapport with students to make them comfortable. Additionally, please note that flexible schedules will be needed as students are located in China.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of English teaching experience in school
- United States teaching certification from any state is preferred but not required
- Prior experience working with ESL/EFL students
- Bilingual (Mandarin) is a plus, but not required
- Must be good in engaging young students who may sometimes be a bit shy, and ultimately building rapport with students.
- Must be a native English speaker
