An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Administrator to join the Registry Team at LSTM.
You will work as part of a team that provides high quality and comprehensive administrative support to staff and students on LSTM programmes. This includes supporting Programme Directors in the administration and management of programmes, issuing advice and guidance to students, providing secretarial support to committees, and administering a range of both internal and statutory processes/procedures related to programme administration.
Key responsibilities are (but are not limited to):
Provide basic advice and guidance to Programme Directors, academic staff, and students on LSTM programmes.
Support the production of timetables, book teaching space and ensure that timetables are communicated to staff and students.
Support assessment and examination procedures including assessment verification, distribution of mark sheets, invigilation, checking moderation procedures and input of marks to the SIS.
Take responsibility for the annual updating of programme and module information on student facing platforms, working closely with Programme Directors and teaching teams who produce much of the content.
Issue standard scheduled communications to students on key events such as induction, registration, assessments, meetings, and graduation.
As part of a cross-School Team, advise staff and students on basic UKVI issues, directing to further guidance where needed.  Conduct standard and regular checks on compliance matters, reporting issues when needed. Attend regular training sessions on UKVI matters
Provide advice and guidance to academic staff concerning standard quality assurance and enhancement processes for LSTM taught programmes.  
The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise their own workload and be able to manage conflicting demands and respond to unexpected needs within a busy department. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:
Minimum of two A-levels or substantial relevant experience 
Relevant administrative experience
Evidence of accurately and independently interpreting and applying regulations and operating procedures in the workplace
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and build good working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues and students
Strong IT Skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and use of e-mail and the internet
Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
Able to work meticulously and with strong attention to detail, and to critically assess one’s own work to ensure accuracy of output
