Description:
An Enrollment Counselor represents King University in a professional manner throughout the process of recruiting, admitting, and enrolling prospective students. This position reports to the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and is part of the enrollment management team under the supervision of the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in one-on-one and group settings
Self-motivation, creativity, attention to detail, time management, and leadership skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and CRM)
Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment Physical Exertion Requirements: Medium Work as defined by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Schedule Flexibility: Frequent weekend or evening work is required, including travel. Driving History: Must qualify to drive a University-owned vehicle. Procedures Commitment: The candidate must adhere to any and all King University policies as detailed for all employees in the Employee Handbook or specifically per any department, such as Admissions, Business Office, Financial Aid, etc. Christian Commitment: The candidate must have and be able to articulate a personal faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and support the mission of King University.
Responsibilities:
Provide admissions counseling and excellent customer service to prospective students and parents using multiple communication methods (including phone, email, text, mail, social media, and in-person contact).
Maintain and manage an assigned territory which includes regular contact with/visits to high schools, community colleges, college fairs, churches, and interactions with various constituents of the University
Meet annual recruitment goals
Actively participate in the implementation, execution, and evaluation of the recruitment plan and communication plan.
