Job Description
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s National Native Children’s Trauma Center (NNCTC) invites applications for a Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on two federal cooperative agreements involving child advocacy in Tribal communities and to support TTA on other NNCTC projects. This position will coordinate with the NNCTC Director/Principal Investigator and the federal project officer to co-develop strategies for day-to-day implementation of project goals and objectives and will be responsible for overseeing implementation, including assigning work to project staff, coordinating with external partners, and ensuring that all project activities are documented and reported in compliance with federal requirements. The position will also provide relationship-based training and technical assistance to interdisciplinary professionals and play a key role in the development of workforce development products. The successful candidate will have supervisory and project management experience and will demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills, including strong presentation skills for both in-person and virtual audiences. Experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native populations in child welfare, behavioral health, justice, or other human services settings is required. Experience with child advocacy center services is preferred. This position reports to the NNCTC Director.

Position Details
Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Letter of Appointment and includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package

Salary for this position is $60,000-$70,000 per year commensurate with qualifications.

Required Skills and Experience
Master’s degree in relevant field
Three years of experience at the supervisory/project management level in a relevant field
Knowledge of and experience engaging with AI/AN communities and/or Tribal agencies
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate cross-culturally and to audiences of varying backgrounds and professional specializations
Demonstrated ability to deliver in-person and virtual presentations and/or comparable public speaking skills
Demonstrated ability to align programmatic priorities with budgetary constraints
Experience with relevant project management, training/technical assistance, and remote communications software and applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, file sharing systems)
Ability to travel (2-3 days/nights per trip) twice per month to provide trainings, deliver presentations, and/or consult with partners
Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving AI/AN children and families in a child advocacy center setting
Experience managing federal grants

The National Native Children’s Trauma Center, housed at the UM College of Education, supports trauma-focused resilience and healing in Tribal communities by providing training and technical assistance to providers across child-serving systems, including child advocacy centers, child welfare systems, schools, behavioral health, juvenile justice systems, and other Tribal organizations.
