Description:
We are seeking an experienced full time Systems and Data Manager to support and manage our iTrent HR/Payroll System and data service. The Systems and Data Manager will play a vital role in supporting and managing a team of system and data specialists. You will have significant specialist expertise and knowledge in HR systems, preferably the iTrent HR/Payroll system. You will be proficient in the area of database systems management, including upgrades, configuration, security and data integrity. Experience of using SAP Business Objects to extract, analyse and interpret data is essential and knowledge of other reporting / data manipulation tools would be advantageous. Working within the HR Operations Team which prides itself on providing a high quality HR service to existing and prospective staff and other key stakeholders. This role focuses on supporting the development of the systems strategy, including the introduction of new modules and maintenance of the existing build. You will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement and translating business needs into effective system solutions. The ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to meet complex business requirements is essential. The HR data service includes meeting data obligations for statutory returns (e.g. pensions, gender pay gap, HESA) as well as supporting University initiatives such as Athena Swann and the Race Equality Charter. You will be a forward thinker with the ability to produce reports, dashboards and provide meaningful insightful information and analytics to help inform our strategies and policies. A willingness to identify new opportunities to use data in relation to team efficiency, competitor analysis and other measurable forms of our work would also be required.
