Description:
The School of Health and Professional Sciences is accepting applications for the position of part-time/adjunct faculty to teach in the Bachelor's of Science in Healthcare Administration (BSHA) and the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) programs. Specific teaching needs include the topics of epidemiology, population-based health, informatics, healthcare policy, healthcare finance, and quality improvement and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
A terminal degree in a related field or a master’s degree with at least 18 hours in the designated discipline is required. Some courses may require applicants to possess specialized coursework to be considered. In addition, work experience in the field of subject is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in the usage of technology is required. All part-time/adjunct faculty must be committed to excellent teaching and mentoring students.
Responsibilities:
Teach didactic courses in either/both the BSHA and MHA programs as assigned.
