A unique opportunity has arisen to work on the Nutrition and Covid-19 Recovery Knowledge Hub. Based in the Faculty of Health, the School of Health Professions has something for everyone interested in health and care-related professions. The School holds an Athena SWAN Bronze award demonstrating the University’s ongoing commitment to advancing gender equality and success for all. The team which created the Nutrition and Covid-19 Recovery Knowledge Hub is looking to recruit a skilled communicator and researcher to join our team. Your role will be to update and enhance the Hub, working collaboratively with the Research and the Digital Marketing Teams. You will also support changes which ensure the sustainability of the Hub in the future. You will have a qualification in nutrition or dietetics and ideally some experience of working with people who are recovering from Covid-19 within the UK health system. You will have excellent written communication skills (including delivering messages across social media), the ability to search for and critically appraise scientific literature, and an understanding of knowledge transfer to both health professionals and the public (carers and patients). You will be able to demonstrate excellent time management, deliver outputs to deadlines, and work independently, taking the initative as required. This is a part-time position, fully-flexible, working 340.4 (7.4*46weeks) funding available for up to 11.5 months due to funding depending on salary point hours per week. Staff appointed within the Faculty of Health may be able to join the NHS pension scheme subject to eligibility criteria.
