Howard Community College seeks experienced, innovative, and dynamic college instructor to teach developmental writing with a proven commitment to our community college mission.
Requirements:
Master's degree in English, Reading or a related field
Community-college level teaching experience with a focus on least prepared (developmental) and diverse learners
Strong knowledge of instructional technology to enhance learning
Demonstrated commitment to first-year student success
Team-oriented willingness to participate in program development and innovations
Ideal candidates are experienced with first-year students, have an established interest in academic leadership, and are committed to the community college philosophy and mission in serving a diverse student population.
