The Faculty of Health has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join its busy Marketing and Admissions Team based in the John Bull Building at the Plymouth Science Park near Derriford Hospital. The team focusses on the recruitment of students for the undergraduate (UG) programmes offered by the Peninsula Schools of Dentistry and of Medicine, and bears responsibility in addition for the marketing of programmes run by the School of Biomedical Sciences. Working with both the broader External Relations team and colleagues from within the Faculty, you will contribute to plans and schedules for each recruitment cycle and will deliver activities related to marketing (including the Schools’ web pages and social media platforms) and support the design and delivery of outreach and conversion events to assist the admissions function within your area of responsibility. You will also work as an embedded member of the Admissions team for the Medical and Dental Schools, and will take part in activities to select incoming students. This will include applicant interviews as well as assessing applicants against set academic and non-academic criteria.
