Job Description
To assist the teacher by monitoring and assisting students, in the
classroom and/or at lunch and during other activities to ensure
the provision of quality instruction in a safe environment.
Job Qualification
1. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child
Development required or Bachelor’s Degree related field
such as Child Development, Early Childhood Education,
or Human Development and Family Studies.
2. Two years of experience with diverse preschool age
children preferred. Spanish proficiency preferred.
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board
of Education may find appropriate.
