We are looking for two passionate and enthusiastic Assistant HR Partners to join our high performing HR Partnering Team. Reporting to a Senior HR Partner, you will be responsible for the delivery of expert, professional HR advice across a portfolio of departments and be their first point of contact for all HR queries including casework, recruitment and selection, performance management and employee relations. You will also contribute to wider activities across HR such as policy and process development, job evaluation and taking an active role in a training and upskilling managers across the University. In this people facing role you will need excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships, persuade, influence and articulate complex information in an accessible way, and present to a range of audiences. You will also have a proven track-record of working in HR at a professional level, demonstrable experience of successfully supporting managers through employee relations issues and good applied knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation. We have two full-time positions available, working 37 hours per week. One position is permanent and the second position on a fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months to cover a period of absence.
