The Faculty of Health, Schools of Medicine and Dentistry has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join its busy Admissions team based in the John Bull Building at the Plymouth Science Park near Derriford Hospital. The faculty offers a suite of undergraduate courses to supply the healthcare professions. Under the direction of the Faculty Admissions Team Leader and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of a customer focused and efficient administrative support service within the Medicine and Dentistry Admissions team. You will be required to assist the Admissions Team Leader in administering the selection and admissions process from enquiry, through to application and enrolment. You will also assist in the front-line fielding of enquiries from applicants and prospective applicants to programmes by the Faculty. Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment, you may be required to undertake other team functions, consummate with grade, to meet the needs of the service. You will: have extensive experience of frontline customer service, delivering accurate and timely responses to enquiries, process and issue routine information to ensure a prompt and responsive service. be able to demonstrate a proficiency to collate, input and maintain data using a variety of systems for further analysis be able to work both independently and as an effective member of the team have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
