Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services, the position will monitor academic progress of student-athletes in compliance with NCAA, Conference, and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. rules and regulations. The Academic Advisor will work with coaches, staff, and professors to foster an atmosphere that retains student-athletes and culminates in graduation from the University while supervising a graduate assistant. Duties will include instructing and advising student-athletes, coordinating graduation plans, monitoring continuing eligibility including APR, and assisting with on-campus recruiting.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in education, psychology, sports management/athletic administration, leadership and/or counseling or related field. Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Strong organizational and administrative abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with students and staff from diverse backgrounds. Individual should have strong computer skills, to include Word applications. Experience in NCAA Division I athletic academics, to include experience in tutor coordination experience. Considerable experience in advising students in an academic setting. Some experience within an athletic administrative unit. Experience with CRLA training and implementation. Experience with EAB or tutoring software.

Experience with Banner
Conditions of Employment
Able to work non-traditional work hours. After 5:00PM and weekend programming will take place often.
