Minimum Qualifications
Minimum two years (4,000 hours) professional experience as a RN in the United States. Applicant must meet at least one of the following:
Completion of a course in teaching adults
Experience in teaching adults
Experience in supervising nurse aides
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
The ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
Excellent organizational skills, have a high attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to independently, be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
The ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy

Extensive computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Google Docs and conferencing technology

The purpose of an instructor at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is to ensure maximum student learning. The instructor accomplishes this by presenting discipline specific learning outcomes through lecture, demonstration, projects, assignments, appropriate classroom management, etc. and by providing authentic student assessment that documents learning has occurred .
Position requires teaching ~CCP high school students, continuing education students, holding required office hours per week for student conferences, advisement and coordinating student concerns with CCW Academic Advisors. Responsible for complying with all facets of CCCC in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Salary depends on education and experience.

Bachelor's Degree $43,242 - $50,571
Master's Degree $45,397 - $52,541
May be required to teach at any college location within the College's three-county service area. Some in-state or out-of-state travel related to discipline specific training could be required.

Essential Duties
Teach 18-28 contact hours per semester.
Assist the department chairperson/program director/program coordinator/lead instructor in the continuous evaluation of course objectives, course outlines, course competencies, course descriptions, teaching strategies, in the specific curriculum to ascertain that they are appropriate and relevant.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute for all scheduled courses current course outlines and syllabi that support accreditation standards as described in the current faculty handbook.
Prepare for and meet classes as assigned, promptly evaluate student progress within one week and maintain a safe learning environment.
Keep the department chairperson/program director/program coordinator/lead instructor informed of matters pertaining to the curriculum.
Demonstrate concern for student retention by employing best practice strategies.
Assist in maintaining department/curriculum equipment, supplies, and materials, and library and support resources as requested by supervisor
Notify the department chairperson/program director/program coordinator and/or provost when planning to be off campus during regular working hours. If the department chairperson/program director/program coordinator/lead instructor is not available, notify the program dean.
Follow policies stated in the policies and procedures manual as it relates to instructor responsibilities.
Assist the department chairperson/program director/program coordinator/lead instructor in working with and maintaining an active curriculum advisory committee that meets at least one time per year and in preparing and submitting minutes of those meetings.
Maintain personal contact with business, industry, and/or professional agencies relevant to the specific curriculum.
Cooperate with Learning Resources to assure the availability of up-to-date library books and support materials relevant to the specific curriculum.
Obtain Blackboard Level I and Level II training as well as maintain a Bb course site for each course taught during the semester.
Work the required minimum 35 hours per week and post and hold the required five (5) office hours per week.
Complete the five-hour staff development requirement.
Encourage and support College activities, policies, procedures, and philosophies.
Collaborate and communicate with CCP NA Lead Instructor, CCW Advisors, the Director of Secondary Partnerships, Director of Con Ed Medical Programs, and Dean of Health Sciences and Human Services to offer resources to students at the first sign of student academic difficulty including maintaining up to date grade books in Blackboard to ensure that grade alerts can be triggered in AVISO.
Plan and participate in activities with public schools and other community agencies as requested by the Director of Secondary Partnerships.

Submit records and forms in a timely fashion as required in the policy and procedures manual.
Serve on College committees as assigned.
Actively participate in professional organizations.
Maintain current industry licensure and credentials, including earning annual CME/CEUs.
Be responsible and perform other such duties as may be assigned.
