An exciting new role working within the progressive paramedicine team at the University of Plymouth, delivering high quality education relating to paramedic practice placements. The role requires collaboration with students, placement providers and practice educators, ensuring a meaningful, quality placement offer exists. Specifically, this will involve the allocation and planning of placement activity as well as the development of new practice placement areas and innovation to improve systems/practice. The key function of this role is to facilitate a high quality placement experience for paramedic students. You will have appropriate academic and/or professional experience, ideally including knowledge of Ambulance Services/NHS. You will be able to work well within a team, offering solutions to problems and leading with the discharge of your own responsibilities. You will have the skills to work under pressure and in sometimes changing circumstances, managing your own time, working in a self-directed manner to achieve required outcomes. Working creatively and driving innovation are required for this developing role, in order to maintain a sustainable placement model for paramedic students into the future. The ability to foster and build working relationships with placement areas and stakeholder is also important.
