**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Department of Political Science invites applications for a full-time, one-year non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor in American Foreign Policy and International Security. The position carries a 3/3 teaching load with minimally one repeated course. The position will cover the following undergraduate courses: U.S. National Security Policy, U.S. Foreign Policy, America and the World, War and Security, and two other courses (one which may repeat). The ability to offer Introduction to Comparative Politics is an additional plus.
Applicants must have a PhD in hand by the time appointment begins on August 15, 2020. Review of applications will begin on March 15, 2020 and will continue until the position has been filled.
Candidates should visit ****and submit: a cover letter, which should discuss research and teaching interests and experience; curriculum vitae; evidence of teaching excellence, such as past syllabi and course evaluation summaries, if available; and a one-page statement addressing the candidate’s intended contributions to the University’s goals of diversity and inclusion, through teaching, and mentoring are required.
