Academic Tutor~
General Function
Academic tutors are responsible for helping
middle and high school students
to understand different subjects. They
assess, assist and encourage
the students in the learning processes. Additionally, they review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answers all doubts and questions students have regarding the topics.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Review
daily goals
with the lead teacher
·Ensure that
laptops are ready
to be distributed to students
·Assists in
setting up
the classroom
·Greet each student and help ensure that
policies and procedures
are enforced
·Complete student
academic status checks
weekly
·Help to maintain the
classroom

s composure
·Work with
students directly
and walk around the classroom
·Point out any
behavioral problems
that arise throughout day
·Assist in
dismissing
the students
·Ensure the classroom is
organized and prepared
for following day
·Support students in completing
school and academic assessments

Bachelor's degree (is preferred)
